To assist in choosing a product that fits your requirements, we've grouped our various models by form factor.

Modules are often the form factor of choice for OEM applications where the power supply will be integrated into a higher level system. A cost effective solution, modules will typically not have a front panel or local controls. Indicators and trim pots may be available features but, typically, control and monitoring is done by remote analog or digital signals. Input can be AC or DC, depending on model.

Rack Mount/Bench Top power supplies can be used in a equipment rack or on a bench top. Bench top power supplies have a small footprint that makes them ideal for laboratory applications. These models feature front panel controls, meters and indicators, as well as remote control via analog or digital signals (may be optional by model). Input is usually AC.

Monoblocks® are X-Ray sources. More than just a high voltage power supply, Spellman Monoblocks® includes an X-Ray tube in a tank assembly. Typically, the tank is oil filled for insulation and cooling purposes. In some cases, an integrated heat exchanger is also provided. Spellman offers Monoblocks® for a variety of applications, both stationary and rotating.

X-Ray Generators consist of integrated high voltage and filament power supplies and emission loop control circuitry for a variety of Medical and Industrial applications. They may be modular or rack mounted.

CT Generators are X-Ray power supplies specially designed for CT applications. The CT generators components are designed to mount on the rotating gantry to allow continuous rotation for the CT machine. Our CT generators run the gamut from 16-64 slice 32/42/50kW compact systems, 16-128 slice 50/80kW performance systems with grid/Z deflection, to 64-256 slice 110kW premier state of the art CT systems.

Portable X-Ray Imaging products are stand-alone items that are used for X-Ray non-destructive testing (NDT). A typical system can include an X-Ray source (tube head), controller, cables, tripod for mounting and positioning the source and, where required, a chiller.

Application Specific products are designed specifically for use in the noted applications.
