Redesigned LPX300 portable comes with digital remote control for Integration into Any X-Ray System

Valhalla, New York – Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of custom high voltage power conversion products will introduce its next generation LPX300 portable X-Ray source, including all new digital controller, at the 75th Annual ASNT Conference booth 835, October 24th thru 27th, 2016 being held at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in Long Beach, CA. Spellman now offers a redesigned 300kV constant potential portable X-Ray system with an advanced digital controller, more easily integrated into CR and DR systems. The 300kV tube head will have the same highly stable, constant potential output as its predecessor but will be more compact and lighter, making it more maneuverable and able to be mounted in the standard LPX tube head stand. The new, modern controller will offer standard RS232, Ethernet, USB and Analogue interfaces and provide added flexibility for OEMs, while Spellman’s proprietary LPX GUI allows for “plug and play” remote operation from a PC or laptop. Universal mains input of 85-265VAC, 1ph, 50/60Hz makes powering the LPX possible anywhere in the World, and its IP65 enclosure ensures worry-free operation of the LPX in virtually any environment. The new LPX controller also has standard I/O for external safety interlocks and warning beacons typically used in portable X-Ray applications.
