グローバル施設
中国、蘇州- カスタム高圧電力変換装置とX線源の世界最大の独立メーカーであるスペルマン ハイ・ボルテージ エレクトロニクス コーポレーションは、中国、蘇州工業園区に新しい設計および製造センター（14,500平方メートル、155,000平方フィート）を開設したと発表しました。これは、現在蘇州にある同社の賃貸施設のサイズを、2倍以上（3つの別々の建物で6,000平方メートルまたは65,000平方フィート）に拡大したことになります。
この投資は、中国でのスペルマンの設計および製造能力を向上させることにより、アジア市場に対する同社の長年の取り組みを強化し、2004年に最初の施設から始まった着実な成長をサポートします。
「スペルマンは2004年に中国事業を開始して以来、小さな修理施設を備えた現地の営業所から、スペルマンの主要な製造部門の1つに移行してきました。アジア市場での売上高の伸び、ビジネスをリードする優れた個人、そしてお客様に高電圧要件を推進するための最高の技術と品質を提供するという私たちのコミットメントは、ここ中国での拠点と機能を再び（６回目）拡大させることにつながります。」とアジアオペレーションVPであるJason Michaelは述べています。「新しい工場への投資は、急速に拡大する中国の高電圧市場に対応するにあたり、事業、エンジニアリング、販売を拡大するために必要なスペースを提供し、地域内の新しい市場と技術に対応し続ける柔軟性も提供します。」
この新しい施設は、長期的なグローバル成長戦略の一部です。新しい建物は、エンジニアリング、運用、サービス、および販売のための追加の作業スペースを提供し、スペルマンが高度な運用技術のインフラストラクチャに投資し、従業員ベースを拡大できるようにします。現在の施設での従業員数170人から、今後3～5年で300～400人に拡大する予定です。この新施設により、中国市場での長期的な持続可能な成長へのスペルマンの取り組みを継続する能力を確保できます。この施設はLEEDシルバー認定も受けています。つまり、スペルマにとって非常に重要な、二酸化炭素排出量削減を進めていく上で、最も効率的なHVAC、断熱材、ソーラーパネル、効率的なLED照明を利用しています。
「この施設は、中国およびアジア太平洋地域の大切なお客様のニーズを満たすために、製品開発および運用能力を拡大するために必要なスペースを提供します。」とスペルマンのCEOであるDr. Loren Skeistは述べています。
「この新しい施設が、SIPが誇ることができる施設であり、スタッフが誇りを持って働き、お客様が頻繁に訪れることを願っています。」と彼は付け加えました。拡張された施設は、引き続きアジア太平洋地域のスペルマン本社として機能します。アジア地域におけるスペルマンの拠点は、ほかに日本、韓国、インドがございます。
