Hauppauge New York, November 8, 2018 – Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s largest independent manufacturer of custom high voltage power conversion and X-Ray products, announces that it has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces Award by Newsday.
The list was determined solely by employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution and connection, just to name a few.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition”, said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement”.
According to Dave Edwards, Global VP of People, “This is an honor awarded to us because of our employees’ responses to Energage’s survey. We are proud and grateful that our employees feel the way they do about the company, and we thank THEM for making it a place where people like to come to work every day. This attitude reflects our company mission ‘to understand and provide what our customer values’ and, by extrapolation, provide a caring and comfortable workplace that our employees value”.
“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy, Claffey said. It’s an achievement that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal”.
