SpellmanはX線発生器およびMonoblock®シリーズを全体的に拡張し、新たにDXM 1200W型X線発生モジュールをX線源製品群に加えることを発表しました。
この小型軽量のシリーズは120.7mm X 304.8mm X 3048mm(4.75"H x 12"W x 12"D)というコンパクトなサイズで、しかも11.8kg(26ポンド)の軽量です。最大出力1200Wでコスト・パフォーマンスに優れたDXM 1200Wは、20kV~70kVの範囲の出力電圧を供給します。

有名メーカーのX線管の大部分に給電できるよう設計されたDXM 1200Wは、フローティング・フィラメントまたはグランド・リファレンス・フィラメントのいずれのX線管にも対応する構成が可能です(現行の300W型および600W型のDXM同様)。DSPベースの亜ミッション電流制御回路で際立つ安定性(<25ppm)と共に、優れたエミッション電流変動率(<0.01%)を提供します。
Spellman独自のSIC(標準インターフェース・カード)をオプションですべてのDXMシリーズX線発生器に組み込んで、RS232、EthernetまたはUSBによるデジタル・インターフェース制御も可能です。Windowsベースのグラフィカル・ユーザ・インターフェース(GUI)が提供されます。内蔵型診断は、標準的なウェブ・ブラウザのJavaアプレットを介して、Ethernet上で実行可能です。
DXMシリーズは力率補正式ユニバーサル入力が特徴で、かつCEに準拠しています。SpellmanのDXMは、XRDやXRF、さらに厚み測定やプラスチック選別からNDTに至るまで幅広く、産業用および分析用のアプリケーションに使用されるX線システムへ、容易に組み込むことができます。Spellmanのコスト・パフォーマンスに優れたDXMモジュールは、固有のOEM要件に対応するようカスタマイズも可能です。
