Diciembre 14, 2010 – Hauppauge Nueva York – Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation is se enorgullece en anunciar que sus operaciones en México (Spellman de México S.A. de C.V.) ha ganado el prestigiado Premio a la Calidad Tamaulipas 2010. Un total de 500 compañías de diferentes regiones del estado participaron en la primera fase de este premio, sin embargo, solamente 30 empresas de la categoría “grande” llegaron a la etapa final. El Premio a la Calidad es la condecoración más alta que entrega el Gobierno Estatal a las empresas en reconocimiento a su calidad y mejora continua.

El Premio a la Calidad Tamaulipas es un evento patrocinado por el gobierno estatal y su objetivo es reconocer el esfuerzo de las empresas para desarrollar, implementar y mantener procesos y sistemas de mejora continua de la calidad, productividad y eficiencia.

Premio a la Calidad Tamaulipas 2010 Competition

El Premio se entregó a Spellman el 3 de Diciembre del 2010 en Ciudad Victoria, Capital del estado de Tamaulipas a manos del Gobernador del Estado Eugenio Hernandez Flores.

Las dos plantas de Spellman en México cuentan con la certificación ISO 9001:2008 e ISO 14001:2004 y abarcan más de 150,000 pies cuadrados y más de 700 operadores altamente entrenados para manufacturar avanzados sistemas y productos para la conversión de energía en alto voltaje de salida, corriente directa y alta frecuencia.
