Spellman Introduces New EBM60-FEG High Voltage Power Supply for Scanning Electron Microscopes

Hauppauge, NY, August 2022… Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corp, the world’s leading high voltage power supply, X-Ray generator and Monoblock® X-Ray source manufacturer, announces the introduction of their new tetrode high voltage power supply specifically designed to drive Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM). Spellman’s extensive knowledge in this application has enable us to develop a range of high precision, low noise, ultra-stable technology platforms that can be customized to meet the demanding requirements of Field Emission SEM.

The high stability EBM60-FEG has the integrated floating Filament, Extractor and Suppressor outputs required to drive Field Emission, Cold Cathode and Schottky Electron Sources. All outputs on this 60kV unit are offered with ultra-low output ripple, minimal micro-discharge, excellent regulation, stability, temperature coefficient and accuracy specifications for unprecedented image quality and resolution. Isolation and control of the respective floating sources is provided via Spellman’s proprietary high voltage isolation techniques.
Customer control of this integrated EBM60-FEG power supply system is accomplished via an RS-232 interface. The unit is CE and UKCA marked. OEM customizations are available.
