Two Spellmanites to Participate in HIA-LI’s Panel Discussion on New Innovative Strategies for Building Tomorrow’s Workforce

Hauppauge, New York – Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s largest independent manufacturer of custom high voltage power conversion and X-Ray products, announces our participation in a panel discussion presented by the Education/Workforce Committee and the HIA-LI Taskforce for Tomorrow’s Workforce. The subject will be New, Innovative Strategies for Building Tomorrow’s Workforce – Connecting HIA Members with Stony Brook Talent & Resources. It will be held January 27th from 8:30-10:00am as a zoom webinar. 

The panel will consist of Kathleen Wolf-Leger, Chief of Staff to the CEO at Spellman, Peter Sciotto, Principal Systems Engineer at Telephonics, Lyndsay Green, Strategic Staffing Manager at Spellman and Lynn Antunovich, Talent Manager at Applied Visions, Inc. 

This is the first in a series of panel events on Zoom that will feature university, community college, BOCES, and high school programs, this program is an opportunity to hear from representatives at several HIA (Hauppauge Industrial Association) companies about their successes in working with Stony Brook University’s Career Center and Academic Departments on connecting with talent and resources.
