Spellman Introduces the New MSA Series High Voltage Modules for Analytical Instrumentation

мая 28, 2020

MSA SeriesSpellman High Voltage Electronics Corp, the world’s leading high voltage power supply, X-Ray generator and Monoblock® X-Ray source manufacturer, announces their new MSA Series precision high voltage modules. The MSA Series expands on Spellman’s highly regarded MS Series high voltage modules.

These compact, high performance, high voltage modules are available with outputs of 0-1kV, 0-2kV and 0-3kV, at up to 0.9W, in either positive or negative polarity. Input voltage is 24Vdc. Like all others in the MS series, it will be offered in PCB mount format, with voltage monitor and arc and short circuit protection.

The MSA Series features remote voltage programming and monitoring (0-10Vdc for 0-100% of rated output voltage). Additionally, a status signal and enable signal provides simple control of the power supply. All units have built-in protection against fault conditions. The MSA Series are intended for general use where a compact, high performance PCB mountable power supply is required. An aluminium enclosure helps reduce radiated emissions.

Typical Applications include

  • Photomultiplier Tubes
  • Electron Multiplier
  • Mass Spectrometry
  • Electrostatic Lenses
  • Nuclear Instruments

Detailed technical information and datasheets on the MSA Series can be found here.
