Suzhou Industrial Park, PRC – Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s largest independent manufacturer of custom high voltage power conversion products and X-Ray sources, announces that it will exhibit at the 2020 CMEF Annual Medical Equipment Fair, from October 19-22, at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. Spellman’s booth is in Hall 3.1, #3A11. 

Spellman will be exhibiting a broad range of high voltage X-Ray solutions for diagnostic medical applications. These include: Z-Series Radiographic generators (32-80kW), MMB series C-arm Monoblocks® (3.5kW and 20kW), Compact CT generators (32-50kW), PDM Series Dental Monoblocks® (900W), VMX/PMX Series mammography generators for digital screening and tomosynthesis, XRB series Monoblocks® for Bone Densitometry, and the DGM series Image Intensifier power supplies. Spellman Representatives will be on-hand to answer questions, discuss custom requirements and demonstrate select equipment.

One of our highlights will be the PMX 50kV generator custom designed for mammography applications including FFDM and DBT. Built into a compact, space saving modular format, it incorporates a dual speed starter, boost/brake capability and RS-232 and optional Ethernet interfaces. Its fast rise and fall times help minimize patient radiation exposure. 

China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), launched in 1979, is normally held twice annually – spring and autumn. Because of the pandemic, the spring show was postponed to the fall and there will be no international visitors or exhibitors this year, unless they have a presence in China.
