La marca Bertan de fuentes de alimentación modulares de alto voltaje PMT de Spellman, ofrece salidas de polaridad fija bien reguladas de hasta 7.5 kV, las cuales operan con un bajo voltaje de entrada de CD. Estos módulos completamente cerrados están diseñados específicamente con técnicas lineales de conversión de energía propias para proporcionar niveles de ruido y rizo excepcionalmente bajos. La serie PMT es ideal para aplicaciones de precisión que incluyen: tubos fotomultiplicadores, detectores de estado sólido y transductores ultrasónicos.

La salida de voltaje puede controlarse ya sea mediante un potenciómetro local interno o mediante una señal con referencia a tierra proporcionada por el cliente para su operación remota. Adicionalmente, se proporciona una señal de monitoreo de voltaje de salida con referencia a tierra. La serie PMT puede abastecerse de energía de una fuente única de voltaje positivo o de una fuente de voltaje dividido ±, lo que proporciona flexibilidad en la aplicación.
