Spellman Implements Global Six Sigma Program

Hauppauge New York – Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of custom high voltage power conversion products, announces the successful completion of the first phase of its Six Sigma program.

Six Sigma is a business management strategy that complements Spellman’s existing lean manufacturing and focuses on reducing manufacturing variation, defects, and inefficiencies.Five Certified Six Sigma Green Belts

Spellman launched Six Sigma in its production facilities in Hauppauge (New York) and Matamoros (Mexico) in 2008, by hiring an outside accrediting organization to conduct intensive training. So far, five Six Sigma Green Belts have been certified and 4 additional Green belts will be certified later this year.
