Spellman Introduces 2kW Rack Mounted High Voltage Power Supply

November 26, 2008 - Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation (Hauppauge, NY) announced today the extension of its popular and versatile SL Series of high voltage power supplies, with the introduction of the SL2KW Series.

The SL2KW provides 2000 Watts of power, in output voltages from 0.5kV to 50kV. The new SL offers positive, negative or reversible polarities in a compact 3.5 inch (8.9cm) 2U chassis size. Input power is 208Vac, three-phase; an optional 220Vac single-phase input is also available.

Originally designed for demanding semiconductor processing systems, the robust SL2KW is ideal for a myriad of scientific and industrial applications.

The SL2KW provides digital metering with a comprehensive fault diagnostic display, plus extensive remote control interfacing capability. The SL2KW also features fast acting programmable voltage and current control loops, and is fully protected against arc and short circuit discharge conditions. Customers can select from a wide variety of standard options, to configure the unit for their specific end-user requirements.
