Spellman Introduces the V-PAK Series

HAUPPAUGE, New York - November 1, 2007 -- Spellman High Voltage Electronics Corporation (Hauppauge, NY) is proud to announce the introduction of the V-PAK Series of high voltage modular power supplies. V-PAK breaks the performance/size barrier, with industry leading performance packaged in the smallest footprint available at the 10kV/10W level.

The V-PAK achieves ripple as low at 5mV (at 1kV), variable high voltage dc output to 10kV, and excellent stability of ≤0.01%/hr throughout the output range. The VPAK's ultra-compact size sets this power supply apart from all other modules in its class, at barely 1lb (.5kg) in weight, and dimensions of 0.79" H x 2.75" W x 2.75" D (20mm x70mm x70mm). V-PAK offers an excellent transient response of 0.5% maximum, recovering to 0.1% in <100ms, and="" a="" very="" low="" temperature="" coefficient="" of="">

V-PAK also features a differential amplifier input for its voltage programming signal to improve immunity from external system noise, or to address offset issues. Spellman's proprietary HV technology, coupled with SMT circuitry, results in a compact and lightweight module ideal for Photomultiplier Tube, Ion Gun, Image Intensifier, and Spectroscopic applications.
