Hot-Switchable Polarity Reversing Power Supply
The process of capillary electrophoresis requires high efficiency, as well as rapid analysis time. Spellman teamed with a leading global partner to design a hot-switch power supply that provides ±30kV at 300µA, and has the capability to switch from positive to negative polarity within half a second without disabling the unit. In addition, Spellman has provided power supplies for gel electrophoresis used in DNA sequencing on the Human Genome Project. Spellman meets the clinical and research power supply requirements of both laboratories and original equipment manufacturers in pharmaceuticals, agriculture and food processing applications.
