Established in 1947, Spellman has grown over the past half century into a trusted supplier to the medical, industrial and scientific communities, serving diverse applications such as: CT Scanning, Bone Densitometry, Non-Destructive Testing, Analytical X-Ray, Ion Implantation, E-Beam Lithography, Explosive Detection/Baggage Screening, Telecommunications, Mass Spectrometry, Electrophoresis and numerous others.

Facilities
Spellman's ISO9001:2000 certified organization encompasses facilities totaling over 330,000 ft² (30,650 m²) devoted to design, production, service and support in the USA, Mexico, Europe, Japan and China. In addition, satellite sales offices on several continents are well positioned to support Spellman's global business, which has enjoyed a double digit annual growth rate over the past decade.

On October 1, 2004, Spellman purchased select assets of DEL Power Conversion, a leading supplier of custom and standard high voltage power supplies and transformers since 1955. This acquisition also incorporated the well known Bertan High Voltage portfolio of precision high voltage power supplies. Today, Bertan standard and/or custom products can be found in every major national, international, private and corporate laboratory, and of course, in the plants and facilities of many OEM's around the world. Typically, where precision, highly regulated and extremely low ripple requirements are found, a Bertan power supply is at the heart of the application. Other companies in the Del family include Del High Voltage, which specializes in the design and manufacture of power supplies used in medical imaging, security and diagnostic applications.

Products
Our product range includes: Modules, Rack Mounted Supplies, X-Ray Supplies and Monoblocks® X-Ray Sources, and Custom Designed Products developed to precise customer specification. Voltages range from 250V to 500kV and power from <1W to 120kW. Utilizing SMT based designs and sophisticated DSP/Microprocessor techniques. Spellman's product line offers a ratio of compactness to power density, and a range of digital control, that has fast set the industry standard for high voltage innovation.
